Flooring installation in Clark County starts long before anyone pulls up the old floor. Every project with Vancouver Flooring Co begins with a free in-home estimate: Bill brings real samples to your house, looks at them in your own light next to your cabinets and trim, and measures every room himself.
Measured once, quoted in writing
You get a written, itemized quote that covers the floor, the removal of what is there now, the subfloor preparation and the trim work, so you know the full cost before any work starts.
The subfloor decides how the floor wears
Before anything goes down we check what is underneath: moisture in concrete slabs and crawlspaces, flatness on plywood, squeaks and soft spots on second floors. Southwest Washington homes see a lot of moisture through the year, and most floors that fail early fail because of what was under them.
Old floors out, new floors in
We remove and dispose of the existing carpet, vinyl, laminate or wood, prepare the subfloor, and let products that need it acclimate to your home before installation. Then the same team installs the floor, fits the transitions, and finishes the baseboards and stairs so the job looks complete, not almost complete.
One team from the first sample to the final walk-through. You deal with the owner, not a sales rep who disappears after the paperwork. When the floor is down we walk the rooms with you and make sure everything is right before we call it finished.
